Here are some Fantastic Facts about our bus..

The LighterLife on Tour bus is a 1998 Van Hool Eos model, which was refitted in 2003.

Bernard Van Hool was the founder of Van Hool NV, which is now a hugely successful European company.  He started the company in 1947 at Koningshooikt near the city of Lier, Belgium.

Bernard Van Hool died in 1974.  His motto was  “Building is my life. To keep on building is your task. The way is ahead.”    An ideal motto for LighterLife in building our brand and taking to the road!

The bus is 12 metres in length, 3.7 metres high and weighs 16 tons.

While on the LighterLife Tour, the bus will travel over 1000 miles across the UK.

The bus has been used by Michael Howard, MP for Folkestone and Hythe, during the last General Election.

It was also used in 2007 by US Civil Rights campaigner Jesse Jackson on his visit across Britain’s churches in an effort to help them do more to promote racial justice.

The bus has also transported several well known bands inc Sugar Babes and Red Hot Chilli Peppers.
